The DK House Salad! My house salad that I serve at least 4-5x a week. Greens, vegetables, avocado, nuts, dried fruits and the best homemade dressing.

Ingredients
6cupsmixed lettuce, try a variety of kale, romaine, arugula, butter
1/4cupfresh herbs, try a mix of basil and parsley if you have it!
¾cupsliced cherry tomatoes
½cupsliced cucumbers
½avocado
1teaspoonfresh lime juice, or more vinegar
1small garlic clove, grated with a microplane grater
½teaspoonDijon mustard
3tablespoonsred wine vinegar
¼cupgood quality olive oil
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Place the lettuce in a large bowl, set aside.
In a small bowl, toss the tomatoes and cucumbers with a pinch of the salt and freshly ground pepper. Add to the lettuce bowl.
In the same small bowl, toss the avocado and lime juice together until coated, then add to the lettuce bowl.
In the same small bowl, whisk together the grated garlic clove with Dijon mustard, then add in the red wine vinegar and whisk until garlic is mostly dissolved. Slowly whisk in the olive oil and seasoning with the remaining salt and pepper.
Add to the lettuce bowl and toss well. Taste, adding more salt and pepper as desired and serve immediately.
